Relatives of the deceased pilot Donald Lawry were present from America.
He was 1 of the 10 crew members of the B 24 Liberator.
Vicktor Ö Gallaghan from Ireland was also present, a relative of John Ö Riordan. John was a deceased pilot from the Hallifax.
Members of the 617-bomb group were also present.
Members of the Barry Branch from Wales were also present.
Deputy mayor W. Baartmans gave a speech.
Supported by the WINGS TO VICTORY with a flyby and bugler Elwin Smidt provided an impressive last POST.
